ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract to Total Highway Maintenance, LLC of Cedar Hill, Texas for Street Striping and Pavement Marking Materials.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued Invitation to Bid 22-28FP Street Striping and Pavement Marking Materials and on March 6, 2022.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record.
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 246 matching eBid Supplier Notifications which included 17 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
* The invitation to bid included work items for both City of McKinney and Collin County, with the City of McKinney serving as the lead agency for the solicitation.
* Out of 246 supplier notifications, one (1) bid was received on March 17, 2022, from Total Highway Maintenance.
* City of McKinney Traffic Department, Collin County Public Works and City of McKinney Procurement staff reviewed the bid.
o Procurement staff conducted research to confirm pricing provided by Total Highway Maintenance was consistent with today's market.
o The City of McKinney Traffic Department and Collin County Public Works agreed that Total Highway Maintenance can complete the work required of this contract.
* Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period and shall be automatically renewed annually for an additional two (2) one-year terms without the necessity of any action by the parties.
