· Approval of Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance authorizes $206,218 from the Golf Course Fund Balance for the repairs of irrigation at the Oak Hollow Golf Course.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The irrigation at the Oak Hollow Golf Course was damaged by lightning strikes.
· Maintenance concerns of the course turf were brought to the attention of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.
· Without a fully functioning irrigation system, the quality of the course would be damaged beyond repair.
· The repairs included in this item will restore the irrigation system to its previous operational condition. However, staff cannot determine how long the irrigation system will last without a complete system upgrade.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance authorizes $206,218 of the Golf Course Fund Balance to be used for the repair of irrigation at the Oak Hollow Golf Course.
