ITEM SUMMARY:
· On November 16, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2010-11-144(R) adopting a policy prohibiting endorsements and campaigning for candidates in local elections by City Council members.
· This Resolution limits the prior policy to City Council and school board elections. It also restricts the use of a City Council member's title in any endorsement.
