RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Resolution authorizes a contract with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for materials testing services for the Couch Drive 12-inch Water Line Loop Project, for an amount not to exceed $8,200.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The City has previously issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for geotechnical and materials testing services and three qualified firms, including Terracon Consultants, Inc., were selected from that process to provide professional services for various projects on a rotating basis.
· Terracon Consultants, Inc., has submitted a proposal in the amount of $7,355 for this project.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· This Resolution authorizes a contract with Terracon Consultants, Inc., for an amount not to exceed $8,200.
· Funds are available in the Capital Improvements Program in the Couch Drive 12-inch Water Line Loop Project (WA4260).
