ITEM SUMMARY:
• Arts organizations bring Outreach and Project Grant requests to the MAC Board.
• The MAC Board approves these requests, on a reimbursable basis, upon successful project completion and meeting all of the grant requirements
• Currently Arts organizations must wait for the next meeting of the MAC, after their final performance, and request approval of their “Final Report” from the MAC Board.
• Staff requests authority to:
o Administratively approve requests that have met all guidelines, and disburse funds
o Calculate and disburse the eligible reimbursement for organization that have not met required expenditures (50/50 match requirement)
o Bring any Project/Outreach grant reimbursement request that did not meet requirements back to the Board for decision on appropriate reimbursement
