ITEM SUMMARY:
· This resolution will approve changes to the Airport Layout Plan/Drawing
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The terms Airport Layout Plan Drawing and Airport Layout Drawing are synonymous.
· The Airport Layout Plan is a blue print that illustrates existing and planned airport development supported by a textual document containing facts, empirical data, studies, federal standards and guidelines.
· The Federal Aviation Administration grant assurances and TxDOT Division of Aviation require that McKinney National Airport maintain an up-to-date Airport Layout Plan or drawing on file with them.
· The existing ALP was developed with FBO and facilities ownership by a private entity.
· After acquiring the Fixed Base Operation and facilities at McKinney National Airport (TKI), MADC realized a need to make certain changes to the Airport Layout Plan Drawing that support airport development and expansion and the business of the FBO.
· Proposed changes to the ALP drawing are attached.
