RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: Consider request based on the oversized lot for a variance to the accessory building maximum size allowed in Zoning Ordinance.

ITEM SUMMARY: The applicant would like to build a detached garage on this oversized lot that exceeds the maximum allowed size of an accessory building in the zoning ordinance.

ZONING: RED-2

EXISTING CONDITIONS: The lot is conforming on lot size, width and depth per RED-2 zoning district. The lot is platted as one lot with 2.034 acres in size. The existing structures plus proposed detached garage will not exceed the maximum lot coverage of 35% of total lot size.
