ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Review completed existing conditions study and analysis of past and existing transportation systems within the City of McKinney.

                     Update on re-establishing the City of McKinney as the direct recipient for MUZA funding.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     On October 20, 2015, the City Council entered into an agreement with The Goodman Group to provide Transportation Consulting Services.

                     During the past several months, TAPS has significantly reduced and cancelled all services provided to the City of McKinney.

                     The reduction and cancellation of services is due to financial challenges within the TAPS organization.

                     Due to these service issues, City Council has directed staff to look at alternative options for transportation services within the City of McKinney.
