RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Collin County for the use of the City's quarry site near the intersection of Redbud Blvd and Wilmeth Rd
ITEM SUMMARY:
· The Collin County Sheriff's Department has requested the use of the quarry which is just east of Redbud Blvd and south of Wilmeth Rd as a training site
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The Collin County Sheriff's Department dive team wants to use the quarry as a training site to eliminate the long drive to its current training site. The Memorandum of Understanding has been reviewed by staff and legal. Access to the quarry site will be coordinated with the Public Works Department.
