RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the attached Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends expenditures in the FY2017-2018 Annual CIP Budget and the 2018-2022 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $75,718 from Parkland Dedication Zone 3 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into project PK3222 Bonnie Wenk Phase 2.
• This transfer will provide the funds for the remaining construction materials testing services needed for the completion of the project and also includes new monies required for the addition of the sky walk component.
• Terracon’s original contract amount was for $15,828.50. This increase will bring the new contract total to $66,000 with a not to exceed budget of $91,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The ability to increase Terracon’s contract amount is contingent on transferring the aforementioned funds into this project, as noted in the Item Summary.
• An accompanying Resolution to increase the not to exceed contract amount for Terracon is also on this agenda for Council’s consideration.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds in the amount of $75,718 from the Parkland Dedication Fund Zone 3 to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds to CIP project PK3222 Bonnie Wenk Phase 2.
