· Acceptance of the Award
ITEM SUMMARY:
· The City of McKinney is presented the Texas Comptroller's Leadership Circle Platinum Member.
· The program recognizes local governments that strive to meet high financial transparency online.
· We received a score of 23 points, the highest possible.
· This project was coordinated by Donna Chamberlain and Xochilt Medina in the Financial Services Department, along with assistance from Susan Mardele in Marketing/Communications.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The City previously earned the award in 2010 and 2012, with Leadership Circle Gold Member at that time being the highest award. In 2014, the award added the Platinum level and the City earned the award receiving a perfect score.
· The award designation is valid for one year.
