Update on Non-Profit Partnership Pilot

ITEM SUMMARY:
• Mayor Fuller asked that we address non-profit partnerships with the transit service program at the MUTD Board meeting in September. Staff has met with non-profit agencies to gauge interest and will work creating a proposal for MUTD Board review. Staff is looking to have this pilot ready for Board review after implementation and initial service period for the new CCT service powered by DART.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Local non-profit leaders have reached out to several elected officials inquiring how their organizations could work with the transit services program.
