ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Ray Huffines Chevrolet of Plano, Texas for GM OEM Parts and Service
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 19-48FP, GM OEM Parts and Service on June 23, 2019.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 107 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
• In response to all notices published, one (1) bid was received on July 11, 2019 from Ray Huffines Chevrolet.
• An evaluation team comprised of three City employees, reviewed and ranked the bid based on the following criteria:
o Cost of parts and repair rates
o Delivery time
o Reputation of the Bidder and of the Bidder’s goods and services verified through reference checks
• The evaluation team recommends Ray Huffines Chevrolet of Plano, Texas as the best value for the city.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with additional four (4) one-year terms.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funding for the GM OEM parts and services are budgeted in various City accounts.
