STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends the public hearing be continued and the item be tabled to the November 13, 2012 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, per the applicant's request. Staff will not re-notice prior to the next public hearing.
 
ITEM SUMMARY:  The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 1.11 acres of land, located on the north side of U.S. Highway 380 (University Drive) and approximately 900 feet west of U.S. Highway 75 (Central Expressway), from "BG" - General Business District and "CC" - Corridor Commercial Overlay District to "PD" - Planned Development District and "CC" - Corridor Commercial Overlay District, generally to modify the rear yard setback and location of the loading space.
