ITEM SUMMARY:
• The McKinney Classic Film Festival is requesting an $898 Outreach Grant as partial funding to offer “Screwball Comedies” featuring the films of Cary Grant at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• This the second year that the McKinney Classic Film Festival is screening classic films.
• An average of 90 people attended each screening last year.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• On October 6, 2015, City Council allocated $16,100 to Upstart Productions.
• These funds were not utilized by Upstart and, if approved, this grant request will come from these unused funds.
