ITEM SUMMARY:
· The City of McKinney provides School Resource Officers (SRO) to the Frisco Independent School District (FISD).
· There will be one licensed police officer assigned to FISD.
· The cost of the SROs is shared 50% to both FISD and the City of McKinney.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The prior year's (2014-15) contract provided a 50% cost share with FISD base on the nine (9) month cost of an officer. The new contract provides for a 50% cost share based on the twelve (12) month cost of an officer
