ITEM SUMMARY:
· AI3202 Airport Pavement Reconstruction and Expansion project requires additional funding to meet the City's local share requirement.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· McKinney National Airport is reconstructing 257,220 square feet of aircraft parking ramp and expanding that ramp by 84,690 square feet to accommodate a future replacement passenger terminal.
· The project construction cost estimate increased during the project's design phase for additional underground drainage and a TxDOT-dictated increase in the asphalt sub-base unit costs.
· The City's estimated construction share increased by $80,609.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· The budget for the Airport Pavement Reconstruction and Expansion (Project AI3202) shall be amended by appropriating $80,609 from the Airport Construction Fund balance and appropriating FAA Grant funding in the amount of $725,481.
