RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Staff recommends approval of the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* Staff is proposing minor map amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, including updates to the Master Thoroughfare Plan, Future Land Use Plan, and Future Land Use Plan Module Diagram to reflect actual alignments of recently constructed roads, completed engineering and design projects, and recently approved development agreements.
* Staff is also proposing minor text amendments to refine outdated text to reflect current conditions and integrate recently completed engineering/planning studies.
PROPOSED MINOR MAP AMENDMENTS:
* The following are proposed updates to the Master Thoroughfare Plan resulting from recently engineered projects/plans and/or roadway construction. All proposed amendments reflect previous policy-based decisions.
* Minor updates to reflect the actual alignment of recently constructed roadways.
* Update of the Future Collin County Multimodal Transportation Corridor to reflect the most recently approved conceptual alignment by Collin County, and the conceptual alignment of the portion of the corridor that extends through the Trinity Falls Municipal Utility District, as illustrated in the approved Development Agreement.
