ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Staff is requesting from the McKinney Arts Commission Project Budget an amount not to exceed $250 to provide refreshments for the July 26, 2016 mural unveiling at Cadillac Pizza.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The First City-Sponsored Public Art Mural is complete and scheduled to be officially “unveiled” on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the site of the mural, the Cadillac Pizza building.

                     Staff is requesting funds not to exceed $250 from the McKinney Arts Commission Project Budget to provide a snack sampling of pizza and bottled water for attendees.


FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     On October 6, 2015, Resolution #2015-10-108, the City Council allocated $15,000 to the McKinney Arts Commission to pay for Special Projects.

                     The $250 will be paid from this fund leaving a balance of $7,500.
