RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends expenditures in the 2010-2011 Budget, including the 2010- 2014 Capital Improvements Program.
• This amendment creates a new project TR2202.titled US 75 Traffic Signals.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• A concurrent resolution authorizes a Local Participation Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT for an amount not to exceed $128,000, as necessary to purchase traffic signal equipment needed during the reconstruction of US 75.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• All costs associated with this equipment will be reimbursed by TxDOT; however, the City will need a source of funds for the purchase.
• Funds for this amendment will be obtained by appropriating funds from the Street Fund Balance to create the new project in the Capital Improvement Program TR2202, with a budget of $128,000.
