RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of the Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This item authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Bob Tomes Ford regarding the installation of communication/data service lines under North Brook Drive.
· The location of the proposed communication lines is North Brook Drive directly west of the Southbound US 75 Service Road and south of Bob Tomes Ford as shown on the attached exhibit.
· The Agreement does not obligate the City to any requirements, and the City may request that the lines be moved or removed if necessary.
· The City is held harmless for any issues that may occur with respect to the lines.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· Bob Tomes Ford requires a strong communication system between its different buildings. The most reliable and cost effective method is through buried fiber optic and copper cables.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· The installation will not require any City funding.
