ITEM SUMMARY:
· The McKinney Police Department is in need of 55 new Panasonic Toughbook, CF-53's with accessories for use in patrol vehicles
· Items are available for lease from Hewlett Packard Financial Services (HPFS)
· Pricing for equipment is per The Cooperative Purchasing Network, TCPN Contract R5013
· Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, Interlocal Cooperation Contracts, authorizes cities to make purchases utilizing cooperative contracts such as the ones available through The Cooperative Purchasing Network
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· This is part of the Citywide computer refresh initiative to modernize the fleet with state of the art hardware and software; yielding increased operational performance and decreased risk to evidentiary deficiencies
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Schedule will be part of Master Lease Agreement 4126409518, 36 month lease at $6,348.65 per month, $76,183.80 annually
· Funding is available in the Technology Improvement Fund
