RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution if construction contract is approved by Council.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution amends the 2015-2019 Capital Improvements Program by reallocating cost savings on two completed projects (ST7128 Intersection Improvements Project & ST6091 FM 543 Realignment Project) to fund the construction of TR3215 Virginia Street and Louisiana Street Traffic Calming Improvements Project.
* TR3215 Virginia Street and Louisiana Street Traffic Calming Improvements Project will receive:
* $195,000 from ST7128 Intersection Improvements Project
* $35,000 from ST6091 FM 543 Realignment Project
* Total Reallocation = $230,000 from both projects

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Pavecon Public Works, L.P. submitted the low bid in the amount of $722,391.11 for the construction of TR3215 Virginia Street and Louisiana Street Traffic Calming Improvements Project.
* If Council chose to approve the concurrent construction contract for TR3215 Virginia Street and Louisiana Street Traffic Calming Improvements Project, this resolution is needed to fund the project.
* If Council did not approve the concurrent construction contract for TR3215 Virginia Street and Louisiana Street Traffic Calming Improvements Project, this resolution is NOT needed.
