RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Staff recommends that the City Council approve a motion to reschedule the date of a joint meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council to April 22, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in order to continue the public hearing and consider/act on the proposed adoption and integration of the McKinney Town Center (MTC) form-based zoning district regulations.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· Action regarding this item (and its companion item 13-001M2) was scheduled to be taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council at the February 25, 2013 joint meeting. A public hearing was held. However, due to scheduling conflicts, this item was tabled (and the public hearing was continued) to April 2, 2013.
· Due to scheduling conflicts, April 2 no longer appears to be a viable date for a joint meeting. As such, Staff is recommending that the City Council reschedule this item and continue the public hearing to a joint meeting on April 22, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.
