STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends that the public hearing be continued and the item be tabled until the June 24, 2014 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting due to public hearing notification signs not being posted on the subject property by the applicant in the timeframe required by the Zoning Ordinance.
 
ITEM SUMMARY:  The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 54.58 acres of land, located on the south side of Stacy Road and at the terminus of McKinney Ranch Parkway from "PD" - Planned Development District and "REC" - Regional Employment Center Overlay District, generally for office and commercial uses, to "PD" - Planned Development District and "REC" - Regional Employment Center Overlay District, generally for single family detached and attached residential and multi-family residential uses. The applicant has indicated their intent to develop the property in conformance with REC Neighborhood Zone area and bulk regulations.
