ITEM SUMMARY:  

• This Ordinance amends expenditures in the 2012-2013 Budget to provide for one additional School Resource Officer (SRO) to be hired and trained prior to the commencement of the 2013-2014 McKinney ISD school year.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  

·      The current School Resource Officer (SRO) program supports 10 officers in McKinney ISD high schools and middle schools.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY:  

·      This Ordinance authorized Budget Amendments as shown on the attached spreadsheet.
