The City Council will select one or more illustrative plans to present to the public in August 2011 to receive public comment based on the adopted guidelines.

The City analyzes the input received through the public hearing process and amends the illustrative plan(s), if necessary.

The City adopts a single redistricting plan which will be submitted to Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

The City’s consultant recommends adoption of a final Plan by not later than October 1, 2011 to allow for the orderly processing of upcoming elections.
