• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution will reject all bids associated with 16-33FP - Utility Cuts.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• At the request of the Public Works Department, the City issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) 16-33FP for Utility Cuts on December 27, 2015.
• This ITB was issued with the intent to test the market and see if our current contract pricing, under contract 15-08FP was in fact the best value for the City.
• A total of three (3) bids were received and opened on January 12, 2016.

Ø Shane Evans Construction of McKinney, Texas
Ø KT Contracting-Concrete Series, LLC of McKinney, Texas
• Based on the increased cost associated with the proposed services, the evaluation team has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to reject all bids and continue with our current contractor.
