• Heritage Guild of Collin County has submitted a grant request, in the amount of $73,765 for costs related to improvements to buildings located at Chestnut Square.
• Bevel House improvements include renovation of restrooms and kitchen and enhancing landscaping.
• Chapel improvements include renovation the groom’s suite.
• Office building improvements include replacing the deck and restoring front office space in the Visitors Center.

• The mission of Heritage Guild of Collin County is to celebrate community, preserve history and inspire the future.
• HGCC was organized more than 40 years ago.
• HGCC supports Chestnut Square Historic Village - a museum and tourist destination in McKinney offering diverse programs and activities throughout the year.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Funds allocated for FY22 for discretionary Project Grants is $1,749,025, and $681,520.09 remain.
• The request is eligible for MCDC consideration under Section 501.152 and 505.1512 of the Texas Local Government Code,
