RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of the Ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance authorizes the addition of $30,000 from the Fire Improvement fund balance to CIP Project FI4246 for the Conceptual Design Related to the Future Fire Station to be Located in the Virginia Parkway and Hardin Road Area.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The City currently owns the property considered and located to the north of Virginia Parkway and to the west of Hardin Road.
· Upon approval of this proposed budget amendment, the current total Project Budget for CIP Project FI4246 will be $30,000.
· In a separate agenda item, consideration is being given to the execution of a professional services agreement with Phelps / Wood Architects to provide conceptual design for this future facility.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance authorizes a CIP budget amendment, transferring $30,000 from the Fire Improvement fund balance to the CIP Project FI4246.
