RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Adoption of budget amendment ordinance.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· The McKinney Police Department desires to add one Sergeant, four School Resource Officers and five vehicles. The officers will be located in the McKinney ISD Middle Schools.
· Funding of these officers will be partially reimbursed by McKinney ISD.

· Cost of the additional officers and vehicles is $621,343, which is funding for the remaining eight months of Fiscal Year 2012-13.
