ITEM SUMMARY:
• The City of McKinney Grants Policies and Procedures outlines the internal controls, areas of responsibility and grants management standards for grants received by the City of McKinney.
• Updates since initial adoption in 2012 include increased Single Audit thresholds as well as update procurement definitions and guidelines.
• During the 2021 Triennial Review, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) classified the relationship between the City of McKinney and it’s transit service provider as a “subrecipient relationship”. At FTA’s request, subrecipient monitoring guidelines have been included by reference in the Grant Policies and Procedures.

• The City of McKinney Grant Policy and Procedures were last updated by Resolution 2012-02-018 on February 21, 2012.
