ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The City of McKinney Grants Policies and Procedures outlines the internal controls, areas of responsibility and grants management standards for grants received by the City of McKinney.

                     Updates since initial adoption in 2012 include increased Single Audit thresholds as well as update procurement definitions and guidelines.

                     During the 2021 Triennial Review, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) classified the relationship between the City of McKinney and it’s transit service provider as a “subrecipient relationship”.  At FTA’s request, subrecipient monitoring guidelines have been included by reference in the Grant Policies and Procedures.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

                     The City of McKinney Grant Policy and Procedures were last updated by Resolution 2012-02-018 on February 21, 2012.

                     There is no fiscal impact.
