RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with Collin County to provide funding for the Alma Road and Silverado Trail Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• This Interlocal Agreement will provide Collin County bond funds for the Alma Road and Silverado Trail roadway project
• Collin County will provide 50% of the project cost as a part of the ongoing partnership to improve regional mobility.
• The project is scheduled for completion prior to the opening of Comstock Elementary (FISD) in August 2012.
• After the bids have been received a budget amendment ordinance will be submitted to the City Council for their consideration of approval thereby adjusting final budget for this project as necessary.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The County Bond Program provides funding for 50% of the project cost.
• The McKinney match for each project is available in the Capital Improvements Program in ST9114.
