RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Staff recommends approval of a license agreement between the City of McKinney and the David Earnest Dorman Revocable Trust for the lease of a city-owned future sidewalk located on the south side of 112 S. Kentucky.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The attached license agreement details the agreement between the City and the David Earnest Dorman Revocable Trust for the lease of a city-owned future sidewalk for use by Cadillac Pizza.

 

                     The lease terms shall be for five (5) years, with the potential for renewal of additional one-year terms thereafter.

 

                     Any improvements made on the property shall be subject to the City’s Zoning Ordinance, fire and building codes, and engineering regulations, and must be completed by September 1, 2016.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Cadillac Pizza approached the City about the potential to lease the city-owned future sidewalk for the purpose of outdoor dining or gathering space as authorized by the license agreement.
