ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance amends the FY 2012-2013 annual budget and the 2013 -2017 CIP budget by transferring $700,000 from the Utility Construction Fund balance to a new CIP project named Couch Drive 12-inch Water Line Loop Project (WA4260).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· In order to meet fire flow requirements for existing and future facilities in the industrial park, a 12-inch water line needs to be constructed along the southern line of the industrial park, connecting the existing 12-inch main at the southern end of Couch Drive to the existing 12-inch main located on FM 546.
· This Ordinance creates a new CIP project and provides the funds needed for the completion of the water main.

· The attached financial summary details the transfer of funds from the Utility Construction Fund balance into a new CIP project called Couch Drive 12-inch Water Line Loop Project (WA4260).
