ITEM SUMMARY:
* McKinney Community Development Corporation will conduct a public hearing on a retail development infrastructure grant application submitted by James West, Architect and CAE Properties for exterior infrastructure improvements to the alley behind the east side of Tennessee Street serving retail and commercial businesses between Louisiana Street and Cloyd Street; and the west side of 208 East Louisiana and 208 Johnson Streets.
* The request is for improvements to the storm drainage system to facilitate reliable deliveries to established retail buildings.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The area outlined currently is served by an antiquated storm drainage system.
* As a result, damage to neighboring historic structures has resulted.
