· Approval of the Ordinance
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Ordinance renames Aerobics Way within the Craig Ranch Community to Grand Ranch Parkway.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· Aerobics Way and Grand Ranch Parkway are two existing streets within the Craig Ranch Community.
· As development continues in the area, these two roadways will connect.
· In order to eliminate any potential confusion with having one roadway bear two separate names, it is requested that one of these roadways be renamed.
· Both Aerobics Way and Grand Ranch Parkway have been platted. A platted roadway requires an Ordinance to change its name.
· Staff concurs with Cross Engineering to rename Aerobics Way from Dr. Kenneth Cooper Drive to Van Tuyl Parkway within the Craig Ranch Community to Grand Ranch Parkway.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Funds for this item are available in the operating budget of the Water Utilities and Infrastructure Department.
