• Approval of Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Clifford Power Systems Inc. of Garland, Texas to provide Generator Maintenance.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City of McKinney issued Invitation for Bid 15-70FP, Generator Maintenance in September 2015.
• Bids for 15-70FP Generator Maintenance were received on September 17, 2015.
• Four (4) bids were received.
• An Evaluation Team comprised of three City employees reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o Price
o Reputation of the bidders and of bidders’ goods or services verified through reference checks
o Extent to which goods and services meet the City’s needs
o Response time
• The Evaluation Team recommends Clifford Power Systems Inc. as the best value for the City of McKinney.
• Contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with two (2) one (1) year renewal options.
