RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Staff recommends approval of the proposed ordinance.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* Staff is proposing minor map amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, including updates to the Master Thoroughfare Plan, Future Land Use Plan, and Future Land Use Plan Module Diagram to reflect boundary changes, actual alignments of recently constructed roads, completed engineering and design projects, and recently approved development agreements.

* Staff is also proposing minor text amendments to refine outdated text to reflect current conditions and integrate recently completed engineering/planning studies.

* Earlier this year, the City Council acted on substantive amendments to the Comprehensive Plan in order to modify the vision for the Regional Employment Center (REC) for today's market conditions. These amendments were approved by City Council at the May 5, 2015 meeting.
* In order to minimize possible distractions from the important REC discussions, non-substantive amendments were not included in the May 5, 2015 Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
* As such, Staff is now proposing the following minor amendments to the Comprehensive Plan:
