ITEM SUMMARY:
* This item authorizes the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Frisco for the construction street lighting on Coit Road and the construction of left turn lanes at the following locations:
o Coit Road at Prestwick Hollow Drive
o Coit Road at Jacksboro Lane
o Coit Road at Rambling Road
o Westridge Boulevard at Masterson Drive

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* When the developers of the Reserve at Westridge, Heights of Westridge, Highlands of Westridge, and Prestwyck Hollow developed, they were all required to build portions of Coit Road. The Heights of Westridge were also required to build a portion of Westridge Boulevard.
* The remaining portions of the Coit Road and Westridge Boulevard are the responsibility of the City of Frisco. These roads are a boundary between the City of Frisco and the City of McKinney.
* Each of the developers were also required to escrow monies for the construction of left turns into their respective developments and for street lighting along Coit Road.
* The City of Frisco has recently constructed the southbound lanes of Coit Road from Westridge Boulevard/ Panther Creek to Virginia Parkway/Rockhill Parkway. They have also recently constructed the westbound lanes of Westridge Boulevard from Coit Road to their eastern city limits. Frisco has previously constructed the southbound lanes from Westridge Boulevard to McKinney's southern city limits and are planning to install the street lighting from Virginia Parkway to McK...
