ITEM SUMMARY:  

·      During the 83^rd Texas State Legislative session several issues will be discussed that could potentially impact the City of McKinney.

·      While the City has joint legislative consultant with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, services from Solutions For Local Control, LLC will focus on issues that are more inherently municipal in nature.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  

·      City Management has met with Fred Hill, representative of Solutions For Local Control to discuss services and found this Company to be a fit for McKinney's legislative needs.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY:  

·      The cost of service is $3,750 monthly

·      This agreement will expire on November 14, 2014
