ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Ordinance amends the FY 2015-2016 annual CIP budget and the 2016-2020 Capital Improvements Program, by transferring $24,000 from the Parkland/Median Fee Fund to the Parks Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into project PK4389 Ridge Road, Hardin Boulevard, and Airport Road Median Improvements.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The landscape design of the medians on Airport Road has been completed. The median landscape and irrigation will be installed as median escrow monies are collected.
* $24,000 of refunded funds in Zone K was given back to the City.
* Currently we are installing one median on Airport Road with funds previously approved by City Council. That approval allowed for utilization of median escrow that will expire in 2016.
* Approval of this transfer will enable staff to install landscape and irrigation in two medians along Airport Road versus the original one median previously approved. This expenditure will allow use of all median escrow funds that will expire in the near future.
* Ridge Road and Hardin Boulevard medians are currently being installed.
* This Ordinance transfers funds to project PK4389 and provides the funds needed for installation of landscape and irrigation along Airport Road.
