RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Staff recommends approval of the proposed rezoning request.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 1.8 acres of land, from “PD” - Planned Development District and “RS 60” - Single Family Residence District to “C2” - Local Commercial District.

 

                     On February 23, 2016, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6-0-0 to recommend approval of the rezoning request, however due to a noticing error this item was reconsidered at the March 8, 2016 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Staff re-noticed this item accordingly.
