ITEM SUMMARY:
· This item authorizes the Interim City Manager to abandon an unnecessary drainage easement within the Water Tower Addition.
· The Water Tower Addition is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Virginia Parkway and Custer Road.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· The drainage easement was provided in 2007 by the owner of the Water Tower Addition when Virginia Parkway was reconstructed.
· The easement is no longer needed since the developer installed a new piping system with the construction of Sprouts.
· Additional commercial buildings can be placed at the location of the easement after it is abandoned.
