RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· This Resolution provides authority to the City Manager to enter into a contact with CoServ for the installation of the median lighting along the following corridors:
o Silverado Trail between Alma Road and McKinney Ranch Parkway
o Alma Road between Stacy Road and Rancho De La Osa Trail
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· CoServ will install streetlights along Alma Road at 500 foot spacing, between the existing streetlights along the corridor, resulting in streetlights spaced at 250 feet.
· On Silverado Trail, CoServ will install streetlights at a spacing of 250 feet.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· CoServ has submitted the proposal for the design and installation of the streetlights in the amount of $151,670.94
· The Resolution authorizes a contract not to exceed $166,850.
· Funding for the installation of the streetlights is available in the Capital Improvement Program in TR9125 ($158,655.52) and ST9114 ($8,194.38).
