RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
· Approval of the attached Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
· Installation of Emergency Vehicle Equipment and Related Items, Contract No. 14-04SC.
· Bid opening of 14-04SC was held on October 10, 2013.
· Invitation to bid was advertised and specifications were made available via the internet.
· Seventeen (17) registered vendors reviewed the request for bid.
· Total of three (3) bids were received.
· Recommended as best value bid is Priority Public Safety of Van Alstyne, Texas.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
· Contract shall commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with four (4) one (1) year renewal options.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
· Funds will be encumbered as needed for installation services as they arrive during this contract period.
