ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution will reject all proposals associated with 15-54RFP Background Screening Services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a Request for Proposals 15-54RFP Background Screening Services on May 14, 2015.
• The intent of this RFP is to provide background screening services.
• A total of eight (8) proposals were received on May 28, 2015.

- First Check Applicant Screening - Southlake, TX
- General Information Services, Inc. - Dallas, TX
- Global Screening Solutions - Castlerock, CO
- Inquiries, Inc. - Easton, MD
- Kelmar Global - San Antonio, TX
- Quick Search - Dallas, TX
- Summit Security Services - Uniondale, NY
• The Evaluation Team recommends rejection of all proposals associated with 15-54RFP Background Screening Services due to requirements changing with new state law, HB 2858.
• HB 2858 will allow the City to obtain some of the background screening services through the Department of Public Safety as opposed to a third party supplier.
