BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The City issued a Request for Proposals 15-54RFP Background Screening Services on May 14, 2015.

The intent of this RFP is to provide background screening services.

A total of eight (8) proposals were received on May 28, 2015.
                     - Certified Background - Wilmington, NC
                     - First Check Applicant Screening - Southlake, TX
                     - General Information Services, Inc. - Dallas, TX
                     - Global Screening Solutions - Castlerock, CO
                     - Inquiries, Inc. - Easton, MD
                     - Kelmar Global - San Antonio, TX
                     - Quick Search - Dallas, TX

The Evaluation Team recommends rejection of all proposals associated with 15-54RFP Background Screening Services due to requirements changing with new state law, HB 2858.

HB 2858 will allow the City to obtain some of the background screening services through the Department of Public Safety as opposed to a third party supplier.
