RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approve the Resolution as proposed.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution amends the FY2015-2016 annual CIP budget and the 2016 - 2020 Capital Improvement Program, by transferring $30,000 of MCDC funding from PK4399 Parks Umbrella Project to PK4324 Parks, Recreation, Trails & Open Space Master Plan Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Parks, Recreation, Trails & Open Space Master Plan Project (PK4324) is a FY14-15 Capital Improvements Project funded with 2014 GO bonds in an amount of $250,000.
• In September of 2015, the MCDC voted to approve funding for numerous parks and recreation projects.
• MCDC approved an amount of $250,000 to PK4399 as a Parks Umbrella Project.
• An accompanying Resolution to enter into a design contract is also on this agenda for Council’s consideration.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Resolution amends the FY2015-2016 annual CIP budget and the 2016 - 2020 Capital Improvement Program by transferring $30,000 of MCDC funding from the PK4399 Parks Umbrella Project to the PK4324 Parks, Recreation, Trails & Open Space Master Plan Project.
BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
• On April 28, 2016 the MCDC approved the reallocation of $30,000 from the Parks Umbrella Project, PK4399, to the Parks, Recreation, Trails & Open Space Master Plan, PK4324, for the addition of a Streetscape Chapter to the plan.
