RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approval of Resolution.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Professional Services Industries (PSI) to provide material testing services related to the construction of McKinney Fire Station #9 located at 4900 Summit View Drive, McKinney, Texas, 75071 in the amount not to exceed $60,274.00.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     PSI is a consulting engineering and construction materials testing firm with an office in McKinney and has submitted a proposal with an estimate for their professional services in the amount of $55,274.00.

                     The balance of $5000.00 is a contingency line item for this contract.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The McKinney Fire Station #9 Project (FI3244) was funded within the FY15-16 Capital Improvements Program with general obligation bonds and funds are currently available for this contract.
