RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approve Acceptance of Grant
ITEM SUMMARY:
• The $50,000 in TxDOT grant funding will be used to pay for routine maintenance and improvement of airport pavements, signage, drainage, lighting systems, utility infrastructure or fencing.
• Improvements/maintenance to be funded with this grant must be complete by August 31, 2017.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Airport has previously been a recipient of this grant funding.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Grant funding requires a 1/1 match or $50,000.
• $50,000 match was included in FY17 Council approved budget.
